This Associate Physician position supports the Urology program at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital. Clinical activities occur under the surgeon or physician lead and alongside the multidisciplinary care team. The work includes patient assessment, admissions, diagnostic interventions, pre-operative preparation, and care planning during hospitalization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete admissions and assess patients’ medical needs
- Order and perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Prepare patients for surgery and perform directed assessments
- Plan care and discharge throughout hospitalization




- Assist with procedures and document completed patient procedures

Requirements:

- Current Alberta Limited Practice Register Clinical Assistant license
- Active ACSAP application or eligibility with initiated application
- Comprehensive Associate Physician theory and practice knowledge
- Current English Language Test meeting application requirements
- Recent critically ill adult patient management experience preferred
