Lead Ashby’s Platform and Infrastructure Engineering organization, focusing on performance, reliability, and team growth across the PST-GMT time zone.

Reporting to the Co-Founder and CTO, you will own the long-term platform vision and six-month roadmap. You will scale the team, manage managers, improve monitoring and incident management, and strengthen collaboration with Product Engineering. The role also covers vendor relationships, pricing negotiations, and infrastructure technologies including AWS, ClickHouse, Datadog, and Braintrust.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain the Platform and Infrastructure vision
- Develop the six-month roadmap for platform priorities
- Hire engineers, managers, and specialized infrastructure roles
- Improve monitoring, uptime measurement,



and incident coordination
- Manage critical hosting and observability vendor relationships

Requirements:

- Leadership experience during a company’s high-growth period
- Experience hiring teams and designing interview processes
- Excellent collaboration with Product Engineering and other departments
- Knowledge of platforms, networking, hardware, and Kubernetes
- Solid written communication across technical audiences
