JLL seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead site automation engineering for industrial processes and warehouse distribution equipment. Apply engineering principles, programming, and control technologies across conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print-and-apply systems, and SCADA devices. Support reliable, high-performing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the site automation engineering program and technical direction
- Design, implement, optimize, and troubleshoot control systems
- Maintain PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks
- Mentor Automation Engineers and Apprentices toward objectives
- Coordinate root cause analysis, vendors, and remote support
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or three-plus years equivalent skilled experience
- Five-plus years PLC-controlled automation experience in production environments
- Ladder Logic and structured programming experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Codesys
- Two-plus years with robotics work cells and automated equipment
- Leadership experience directing, training, and mentoring automation engineers
