Lead financial reporting and period-end close as a Senior Corporate Accountant in Vancouver, working hybrid with Destination Canada.

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, this senior role prepares statements, schedules, reconciliations, and analysis. You will apply Public Sector Accounting Standards, coordinate audits, research directives, and strengthen financial processes. The position also supports Corporate Accountants and organization-wide financial understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Coordinate period-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Manage audit working papers and information requests
- Research standards and federal government directives




- Provide accounting guidance and financial training

Requirements:

- Recognized qualified accounting designation and related post-secondary education
- At least three years of post-designation accounting experience
- Knowledge applying Public Sector Accounting Standards
- Audit support and financial statement preparation experience
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
