As Team Lead or Manager, Surety, you will guide underwriters and support Intact’s Specialty Solutions growth. Your work spans strategic direction, complex account negotiations, profitability, and operational execution. You will collaborate with claims, operations, finance, product, compliance, and broker partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coach underwriters through guidance, file reviews, feedback, and training plans
- Lead team meetings and manage performance discussions
- Own broker relationships, planning, pipeline reviews, and market communications
- Manage profitable portfolios and authorize complex underwriting decisions




- Monitor workflow and collaborate cross-functionally to improve outcomes

Requirements:

- University or college degree, or equivalent education and experience
- Eight to ten years of relevant Contract Surety experience
- One to two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strategic direction, communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Integrity, accountability, adaptability, and openness to some travel
