Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of siding, exterior carpentry and deck crews, including helpers and labourers, on residential job sites
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors; assign daily work and track progress
- Implement and enforce site safety, including toolbox talks, fall protection and WorkSafeBC requirements
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Coordinate work with clients, other trades and subcontractors
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Prepare work progress reports
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions and discipline
