Mechatronics and robotics expertise support JLL’s Operations Maintenance team on-site in Balzac, Alberta, repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems.

As a Mechatronics and Robotics Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role requires electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and accurate documentation. You may also mentor junior technicians while supporting facility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and maintain material handling equipment throughout the building
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
- Troubleshoot belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and related equipment




- Track and store department inventory
- Mentor junior technicians in their roles

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years repairing material handling equipment
- Two or more years conducting predictive and preventative maintenance
- Flexible availability for weekends, nights, holidays, and diverse shifts
- Ability to move up to 49 pounds and stand or walk
