The Area Manager Materials Management oversees the department within Prairie Mountain Health and reports to the Regional Manager Supply Chain Management. The position requires materials management experience focused on purchasing and inventory management, plus leadership in a health care setting. Responsibilities span financial, human resources, equipment, environmental, policy, and service considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Materials Management services throughout Prairie Mountain Health
- Oversee department policies and procedures development
- Monitor financial, human resources, equipment, and environmental issues




- Coordinate clinical supply distribution with nursing units
- Support clinical product and equipment selection

Requirements:

- Two years’ Materials Management experience in purchasing and inventory
- Three years’ management experience, preferably in health care
- Relevant post-secondary education and supply chain certification
- Knowledge of computerized inventory control systems
- Manitoba Class 5 licence and personal vehicle access
