The Senior Manager, Applications and Engineering oversees end-to-end operations, support, and development for core record-keeping and processing platforms. You will partner with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture, vendors, and internal and offshore Agile squads. The mandate includes modernization, scalable engineering solutions, and reliable production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee application development, maintenance, operations, and production support
- Advance legacy integration with cloud and containerized services
- Manage priorities, release schedules, and Agile solution delivery
- Approve technical designs,
architectures, and effort estimates
- Lead squads, vendors, contractors, and offshore resources
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in a related technical or business field
- Seven to ten years of progressive engineering experience
- Legacy modernization experience with Natural/Adabas and AWS
- Expertise supervising squads and third-party software vendors
- Proficiency with SDLC models, Agile, and Scrum delivery
