Drive cost reduction and efficiency projects at Wonderbrands in Mississauga or Etobicoke, using analytical skills within food manufacturing operations. Travel may be required.
Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Leader, this engineer advances data driven problem solving across the bakery. The work involves standard work, performance analysis, root cause problem solving, project management, and manufacturing optimization. You will support productivity, waste, labor, and OEE improvements while collaborating with Bakery leadership, Finance, operators, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement standard work, communication boards, and problem solving systems
- Coach operators during daily leadership rounds and follow up
- Analyze performance and financial data for process improvements
- Track projects and lead sub tracks through implementation
- Lead improvement teams and spread continuous improvement culture
Requirements:
- Post secondary education in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Valid G Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Flexibility for travel and shifts, including weekends
