The City of Barrie is hiring an Engineer, Water Planning to lead engineering planning for the city’s water supply, storage and distribution. You will develop and maintain a sophisticated water model and apply its output to ensure secure water delivery, and provide engineering guidance to city staff on servicing strategies.

You will also direct Municipal Class Environmental Assessments, oversee the water infrastructure program within capital budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory
