Lead water facilities teams across Canada with Jacobs, using strategic workforce planning and people development from any Canadian office.

As Department Manager, Facilities, you will report to the Director of Operations and lead approximately 10 Group Leaders. The role advances career growth through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management. You will also oversee proposal and project workloads, resource allocation, recruitment, and operational delivery across the Canada Water Business.

Key Responsibilities

Coach Group Leaders and strengthen leadership capabilities

Lead career development, succession planning, and performance management

Optimize staff utilization across markets and delivery teams

Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and talent development





Implement growth strategies and coordinate proposal staffing

Requirements

Minimum 15 years designing, constructing, or managing water projects

Professional Engineering registration or equivalent designation preferred

Proven water-market leadership and project delivery experience

Solid coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills

Excellent communication, planning, and conflict-resolution abilities
