Bring water resources project review experience to a permanent Technical Advisor position with Yukon Water Board Administration in Whitehorse. This full-time opportunity supports the Secretariat’s skilled and technical work for the independent Yukon Water Board.

As Technical

Advisor, you will integrate external technical information and provide internal review and recommendations on Type A and complex Type B applications and plans. Your understanding of large, technologically complex projects will support licensing work involving water conservation, development, and utilization.

Key Responsibilities

- Integrate technical contributions from external resources
- Conduct internal technical reviews of licence applications
- Assess Type A and complex Type B plans




- Recommend findings to Secretariat staff and Board members
- Support the Board’s informed licensing decisions Requirements:
- Water resource-related science or engineering degree
- Developmental project review experience identifying impacts to water
- Report writing and presentations for non-technical audiences
- Contractor procurement and contract management experience
- Eligible candidates require a valid Yukon Class 5 licence Apply project assessment, reporting, and contract management skills while supporting water licensing decisions for Yukon communities.
