Internal Audit Director

Our client is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Director for a consulting engagement, with the potential to transition into a longer-term leadership prospect. The role focuses on strengthening and expanding the internal audit function, enhancing risk-based audit programs, and leading an established audit team.

Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team.
- Strengthen and expand the organization’s internal audit framework and capabilities.
- Design and enhance risk-based audit plans, methodologies, and processes.
- Oversee operational, financial, and compliance audits.
- Assess governance, risk management, and internal control environments.
- Partner with leadership on continuous improvement opportunities.




- Support IFRS reporting environments and financial control processes.
- Drive audit initiatives that support strategic business objectives.

You bring experience in operational and financial statement auditing, audit function improvement, team leadership, governance, risk management, and internal controls.
