You will work in a Microsoft Azure PaaS workplace using .

You will turn specifications into production-ready code and work closely with software architects, quality assurance staff and technical teams. You will also help improve specifications and keep documentation current.

Key Responsibilities
Translate provided specifications into coded deliverablesDevelop micro/event services in .
NET and C# on Azure PaaS, following security practices within the provided tools and environmentBuild production-ready and minimum viable product (MVP) services from specificationsPrepare sample data and write unit tests and unit test reportsDevelop or enhance the artifacts and code needed to deploy deliverablesWork with quality assurance staff to test, find and fix bugsWork with software architects to improve specificationsContribute to team software development tasksEstimate task effort and track percent completeDocument code, test instructions, diagrams and deployment instructions for later changesPresent work in progress and outputsSubmit timesheets and status reports, and attend designated meetingsMust-Have Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Programmer / Software Developer at the intermediate level, including designing programs, coding, testing,



debugging and documenting applications5+ years of hands-on C# software development and coding within the last 10 years5+ years within the last 10 years in one or a mix of: commercial software product development, cloud application development for business use on a commercial cloud PaaS, or core business operations application development (not off-the-shelf products or single-developer applications)2+ years of hands-on microservices development within the last 5 years, as a primary or intermediate developer5+ years within the last 10 years implementing software with established design patterns and contract-first development, where API contracts, interface definitions and schemas drive design, development, testing and integration1+ year of hands-on development within the last 6 years with one or more of: Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DBAbility to communicate in EnglishPreferred Qualifications / AssetsEvent-driven microservices development (24+ months is ideal)Development in Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code (3+ years is ideal)Azure DevOps experience across repositories, pipelines and artifacts, including pipeline design (18+ months is ideal)GraphQL development (12+ months is ideal)Bicep Infrastructure as CodeExperience using GitHub CopilotStrong understanding of:Microservices architectureEvent-driven designAzure PaaS servicesDevOps and CI/CD practicesMicrosoft 365 and Windows 11 environmentsThis posting is for an existing vacancy.
