Key Job Duties:

Maintain the highest positive attitude in the office

Manage, motivate, and mentor a variety of personnel involved in the installation & inspection of solar projects

Ensure that the installation crew has the opportunity to perform the installation in a timely manner

Monitor and oversee daily production

Inspect job sites of each installation crew and correct as needed. Accountable to technician assessments of potential solar installation sites to determine feasibility and design requirements

Accompany crews on jobs sites to ensure quality and improve techniques





Communicate and coordinate with the office sales manager on a regular basis

Resolve customer complaints or concerns involving the installation process

Coordinate with corporate departments on a daily basis, provide accurate installation forecasts and branch performance reporting

Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Coordinate/Schedule/and ensure Service Calls are handled in a timely manner

Coordinate and schedule pre-install site assessments in order to gather necessary info for design and permitting.

Submit all pertinent information for solar install design and permitting, managing entire life cycle process from initial sale to system commissioning and customer onboarding

Ensure the safety of the staff by holding weekly trainings/meetings

Necessary Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred

4+ years construction experience

4+ years management experience

Experience with project management and construction experience required

Solar industry a plus

Must know how to handle problems quickly and efficiently

Must be very organized and have great communication skills

Ability to demonstrate industry-specific computer skills with continuous work within project softwares

2-3 years experience in a leadership role within the solar industry
