Location: Sparwood, British Columbia
Pay: $36–$44/hr

- Local work: $40–$44/hr
- Travel work: $36–$38/hr, plus accommodations and per diem

About the job

Drive and operate semi vacs, wet vacs, combo units, hydrovacs, water trucks, tankers and trailers. The work is hauling hazardous and non-hazardous waste from customer sites to Clean Harbors facilities.

Responsibilities

- Drive and operate the trucks and equipment
- Load and unload goods correctly
- Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep dispatch updated
- Do roadside repairs
- Maintain and clean equipment

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 licence (Class 1 applicants need semi vac experience)
- Can drive a manual transmission
- Experience with combo, hydrovac, wet vac, trailers or tankers is an asset
- Heavy equipment experience
- Can work shifts, including nights
- Willing to travel
- Willing to do a drug test and a physical
