Looking for a Millwright position with a consistent Day Shift?

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the automotive and industrial sector, is looking for a skilled Industrial Millwright (433A) to join their maintenance team in Concord, Ontario.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Millwright looking to work a Day Shift schedule, supporting equipment reliability, minimizing production downtime, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery.

The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, experience working with CNC machinery, and a commitment to preventative maintenance and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on plant equipment and machinery.

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machinery and general shop equipment.

- Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

- Repair and service pumps, valves, bearings, seals, conveyors, and various drive systems.

- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and vendor specifications.

- Manufacture, modify, and repair machine components using manual lathes, milling machines, saws, and drilling equipment.

- Perform welding (MIG, TIG, and oxy/acetylene) as required.

- Safely operate cranes, forklifts, and high-reach equipment.

- Assist with machinery installation, rigging, and equipment movement.

- Maintain spare parts, tooling, and maintenance equipment.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.

- Work closely with production teams, management, and external service providers to minimize equipment downtime.





- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.

- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide telephone support as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

- Industrial Millwright 433A Certificate of Qualification (required).

- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing or CNC environment.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

- Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

- Experience with welding and machining equipment.

- High-reach equipment certification/licensing required.

- Technical diploma or degree considered an asset.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
