Provide person-centred home care as a Continuing Care Assistant with VON Canada, using personal care and mobility support skills.

This permanent, part-time Home Support position offers 0.7 FTE, with evening and weekend schedules. You will support clients in their homes, help develop care plans, and promote comfort and independence. The work involves travelling between clients’ homes throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide person-centred care in clients’ homes
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Support secure mobility and transfers
- Prepare nutritious meals and perform light housekeeping
- Collaborate with healthcare teams

Requirements:
- Continuing Care Assistant certification
- Current Standard First Aid or CPR level C Certificate
- Personal vehicle, current driver’s license, and vehicle insurance
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment
