POSITION DETAILS

Position: Full-Time Pharmacy Manager

Location: Grande Prairie, Alberta

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pharmacy Software: Kroll

Prescription Volume: Approximately 60–100 prescriptions per day

Staffing: 4 Pharmacy Assistants

Services: Community Pharmacy & Compounding

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations while providing excellent patient care and leadership.

Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Managing and supervising daily pharmacy operations
✅ Leading, supporting, and inspiring a successful pharmacy team
✅ Ensuring safe and accurate dispensing practices
✅ Providing exceptional customer service and patient counselling
✅ Supporting and delivering professional pharmacy services




✅ Maintaining compliance with Alberta pharmacy regulations and professional standards
✅ Helping develop and expand pharmacy services
✅ Participating in compounding activities and supporting compounding operations
✅ Maintaining a positive, productive, and patient-focused pharmacy environment

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

We're looking for a pharmacist who has the experience, leadership abilities, and clinical skills to successfully manage a community pharmacy.

✔️ Licensed Pharmacist in Alberta and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
✔️ Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Manager
✔️ Strong leadership skills and experience managing a pharmacy team
✔️ APA (Additional Prescribing Authorization) certification
✔️ Injection certification
✔️ Must have a genuine interest in compounding
✔️ Proficient with Kroll pharmacy software
✔️ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔️ Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
✔️ Ability to lead a team while maintaining high standards of patient care
