Foresight Recruitment Group is partnering with a well-established, privately held Calgary commercial real estate owner and manager to find an Operations Manager for its downtown office portfolio. The organization owns and operates a collection of high-quality office assets and is known for a hands-on, long-term approach to its buildings and its people. This is not a desk-bound facilities role or a single-building position. Leading building operations across a multi-property office portfolio, including mechanical, electrical, life safety and building automation systems Managing, mentoring and developing a team of building operators and operations staff Preparing and managing operating and capital budgets, and planning and delivering capital projects Overseeing preventive maintenance programs, equipment lifecycle planning and asset condition reporting Sourcing, negotiating and managing vendor and service contracts Driving energy management, sustainability and certification initiatives (e.Working closely with property management,



leasing and ownership to support tenant satisfaction and retention Ensuring compliance with health and safety, codes, and regulatory requirements 7+ years of experience in commercial building operations, with at least 3 years leading a team Strong working knowledge of HVAC, central plant, BAS and life safety systems in high-rise office buildings Proven experience with operating and capital budgets, project delivery and vendor management BOMA, FMA, RPA or similar designations considered an asset What makes this opportunity particularly interestingThis role offers the scope of a portfolio leadership position without the layers of a national landlord.
