Senior Project Manager to manage the delivery and upgrade of a Cloud Services Platform

Our large, enterprise Public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage the delivery and upgrade of a Cloud Services Platform .

Duration: 12-month initial contract with a possibility of extension. (80 hours a month)

Working model: Remote. Occasional in-person sessions may be required to Saskatchewan.

Must-Haves:

- 10+ years of IT Project Management experience
- At least two recent end-to-end projects implementing a modern, cloud-based platform and associated business process improvements to support enterprise operations
- Experience within the public sector, post-secondary, research, or education industry
- Experience managing project scopes that include the redesign and optimization or business processes, change management, and implementation support
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a program environment with evolving priorities, emerging initiatives, and incomplete information

Scope of project & Key Responsibilities:

- Implement a modern, cloud-based platform and associated business process improvements to support a full range of business operations
- Resource management (acquisitions, cataloguing, metadata, electronic resource management, and collections), circulation and fulfillment services, discovery and access of legacy data, analytics and reporting, and integrations with internal and third-party systems.
- Redesign and optimization of business processes, training, change management,



and implementation support to ensure successful adoption of the new Cloud Services Platform
- Project planning, scheduling, and status reporting
- Governance coordination activities, including facilitation of governance meetings, decision tracking, escalation, and follow-up
- Development and maintenance of project artifacts (e.g. project plans, status reports, risk, issue and decision logs)
- Coordination with the vendor project manager and internal cross-functional teams to support the project across design, build, testing, training, integration, and go live readiness activities.
