Build production AI agents with Python and RAG for Brilliant Harvest’s remote-first platform, owning features from concept through deployment.

As an AI Engineer, you will design agents that plan, use tools, and complete multi-step tasks. You will develop RAG pipelines, document ingestion, and LLM integrations supporting those agents. Working with the Lead AI Engineer and broader AI team, you will own well-scoped features end to end while growing into larger problems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and ship production AI agents across Brilliant Harvest
- Implement orchestration, memory, tools, guardrails, and human checkpoints
- Evaluate task success, tool accuracy, cost, and latency
- Build RAG, ingestion, evaluation, and automated quality components
- Investigate retrieval,



tool-call, ingestion, and answer-quality issues

Requirements:

- Three-plus years’ software engineering or data science experience
- At least one year building AI, machine learning, or LLM applications
- Practical experience with agents, tool calling, and MCP
- Solid Python proficiency and modern backend language experience
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure
