As a Data Governance Analyst supporting Data Strategy, you will advance governance initiatives and prioritized business use cases. The work spans metadata management, data quality, ownership, stewardship, and stakeholder collaboration. You will report functionally to the Manager, Data Governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and prioritize data governance initiatives aligned with organizational goals
- Implement enterprise frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, and processes
- Define data ownership, stewardship, accountability, and decision structures
- Monitor quality standards, metrics, issue logs, and remediation plans




- Maintain glossaries, dictionaries, metadata, catalogues, lineage, and CDE inventories

Requirements:

- Degree in information management, business, computer science, or related discipline
- Minimum five years of data management experience
- Knowledge of governance, quality, metadata, and DAMA-DMBOK disciplines
- Experience with Purview, Collibra, Informatica, or similar platforms
- Local availability for weekly attendance at Burnaby head office
