Build production AI agents at Fluent using Python, SQL, and Databricks. This fully remote United States role includes occasional New York travel.

As Fluent’s first dedicated AI Engineer, you will turn proven pilots into dependable production systems. You will work across Core Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, and Solution Architecture. Your focus includes LLM applications, lakehouse data foundations, automated workflows, and measurable agent quality for business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ship agents and workflows from business-validated backlogs
- Own scoping, deployment, monitoring, documentation, and handoff
- Build trusted Databricks tables, views, and pipelines
- Measure accuracy, drift, cost, latency, and failures
- Integrate systems through APIs, webhooks, and orchestration

Requirements:

- Three-plus years of software or data engineering experience
- Robust Python and SQL skills
- Shipped an LLM application real users depend on
- Experience with Databricks or a comparable lakehouse
- REST API, webhook, and OAuth integration experience
