Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant Needed - Edmonton

We are looking for a warm, reliable and energetic part-time nanny/family assistant to help our family and care for our 3½-year-old daughter in Edmonton.

Our daughter is a fun, social and active little girl who loves playing, crafts, dancing, outings and having someone who will genuinely engage with her. We would love to find someone who enjoys preschool-aged children and is comfortable planning activities both at home and out of the house.

I work and have a busy schedule, so I’m really looking for someone who can become a consistent part of our weekly routine and help make our household run a little more smoothly.

The position would primarily involve childcare, including playing and engaging with our daughter, preparing her snacks/meals, taking her outside or on occasional outings, and helping with her regular routine.

I would also love someone who is open to helping with some light household tasks during appropriate times, such as tidying, dishes/loading or unloading the dishwasher, folding laundry, light kitchen clean-up and/or straightforward meal prep.



I am not looking for someone to simultaneously provide full-time childcare and deep-clean the house — just an extra set of hands with everyday household tasks.

We would also love to have someone who is occasionally available in the evenings for babysitting when we have dinner plans, events or a night out. These hours would be in addition to the regular weekly schedule and arranged in advance.

The most important thing to us is finding someone kind, patient, trustworthy and dependable who genuinely enjoys children. Previous childcare or nanny experience is preferred. CPR/First Aid and references are strongly preferred, and a valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation would be an asset.

We are looking for part time help during the week, with some flexibility for additional hours and occasional evenings.
