A hybrid schedule includes three days on campus and two remote.As Director, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for contracted and self-operated services. You will shape service models, financial strategies, contract management, procurement, food safety, risk management, and stakeholder engagement. The role supports student experience, affordability, inclusivity, sustainability, and financial performance.Key Responsibilities:
Establish multi-year hospitality priorities, service models, and financial strategiesOversee contracted and self-operated dining, retail, and cateringManage major contracts, franchises, partnerships, and procurement processesLead service transformations,



including residential dining model implementationAlign infrastructure planning, stewardship, and guest experience across divisionsRequirements:
Master’s degree or equivalent education and significant relevant experienceEight years of progressively responsible hospitality leadership experienceExperience managing complex budgets, forecasts, revenues, and contribution targetsKnowledge of food safety, licensing, accessibility, and regulatory requirementsSmart Serve certification and Ontario G Class driver’s licenseBring strategic leadership, financial stewardship, contract expertise, and hospitality knowledge to Trent University’s Peterborough-based services.
