You will advise clients and deal teams on buy-side and sell-side due diligence, tax modelling, purchase and sale agreements, and post-closing matters. The work includes private equity transactions, reorganizations, and strategic advisory engagements.Key Responsibilities:
Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagementsEvaluate tax liabilities, exposures, and mitigation strategiesDesign tax-efficient structures for acquisitions and divestituresPrepare technical deliverables explaining tax analysis and implicationsManage, mentor, and develop engagement team membersRequirements:
Completed CPA designation or LLBMaster of Taxation or CPA Canada In-depth Tax programAt least five years in skilled services, specializing in TaxExperience with M&A; transactions and client expectationsStrong problem solving, analytical, and communication skillsBring transaction tax, client service, and team leadership expertise to BDO’s Calgary advisory practice.
