As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible for coordinating the investigation, troubleshooting, tracking, and execution of corrective actions for customer complaints, internal issues, and supplier issues. You will be responsible for managing the test equipment calibration.
Develop and manage data analysis of product quality trends.
Manage testing equipment calibration program.
Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
Contribute in the development and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures for selecting and qualifying new suppliers, as well as monitoring capabilities and performance of existing Suppliers.
Support quality goals and objectives along with activities to identify, explain and resolve quality issues.
Bachelor's degree in engineering field, or 5 years of equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance in manufacturing
Knowledge of quality system methodologies
ASQ CQE certification is an asset
Experience with Project Management, Lean Six Sigma principles
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Data analysis using Excel and database tools
Familiarity with requirements such as Counterfeit Parts Prevention, FOD and ESD controls, etc
