Lead Epic application strategy and optimization at William Osler Health System in a hybrid, full-time management position with regular onsite work. Guide clinical technology supporting Brampton and surrounding communities.

As Manager, HIS Applications, you will provide strategic, technical, and managerial leadership for assigned Epic applications. You will oversee support, lifecycle management, change practices, and operational processes. The position leads approximately 15 to 20 staff while coordinating priorities with clinical, non-clinical, and information services leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Applications Team support, maintenance, and Epic application optimization

Oversee upgrades, testing, maintenance, and third-party application lifecycles

Establish standardized change management and operational processes

Coordinate resources, priorities, workflow design, build,



and testing

Participate in IS Change Advisory Board and on-call rotation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in health, administration, computer science, business, or related field

Five years’ leadership and project management experience in Canadian health care

Five years’ modernized HIS experience at EMRAM Stage 6 or higher

Epic certification and Project Management Skilled certification are assets

Change management, stakeholder, communication, and negotiation skills
