ResponsibilitiesBuild long-term broker relationships through exceptional service and active engagement (visits, field underwriting, industry/marketing events). Underwrite moderate–complex risks; analyze quotes, renewals, and policy changes; recommend innovative, data-driven solutions. Coach and mentor the team to elevate technical underwriting and broker relationships; model a growth mindset.Drive process and workflow improvements to boost efficiency and best practices. Lead regional performance to meet service, production, and profitability goals. Apply disciplined pricing and underwriting within guidelines and authority. Quote, negotiate, sell, and authorize business to grow and retain profitable portfolios. Arrange reinsurance and/or subscription as needed to find solutions for our customers and broker partners. Maintain robust partnerships with brokers, reinsurers, and colleagues. Use systems for inquiries, filing, underwriting, and rating; champion tools that enhance speed and accuracy. Travel as needed to strengthen relationships and market insight.

Salary range (based on a 35-hour workweek): $87,200 – $106,600. Salary may be adjusted based on experience, skills, qualifications, and anticipated contribution. Annual bonus target: 10% of base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance).
