The position requires a law degree, Ontario membership, and at least five years advising entrepreneurs and start-ups. You will operate independently while delivering clear, business-driven answers under time pressure. Key Responsibilities:

Advise companies on formation and shareholders' agreements Support private placements and corporate transactions Prepare stock option plans and license agreements Draft terms and conditions of use Represent Caravel at start-up conferences and networking events Requirements:

Law degree Membership in valuable standing with the Law Society of Ontario At least five years advising entrepreneurs and start-ups Ability to provide clear, business-driven answers under pressure Comfort operating autonomously and running mandates independently Bring start-up counsel, corporate transactions, and independent judgment to Caravel Law clients in Toronto or across Canada remotely.
