Senior Quantity Surveyor, Cost AssuranceFull-timeDepartment: InfrastructureCompensation: CAD 95,000 - 145,000 per yearWe are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Senior Quantity Surveyor to work in our growing Cost Assurance team.Who are you?You have 8+ years of post‑graduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor and are motivated to join a specialist Cost Assurance team to foster growth and deliver client value.ResponsibilitiesSupport clients and deliver successful Cost Assurance commissions.Develop and mentor junior staff and assist with recruitment.Support new revenue generation by seeking opportunities.Contribute to bids and business development.Lead ongoing refinement of internal training and product management.Analyze complex construction contracts (PDB, NEC3/4, Alliance contracts).Test data and information using smart techniques and tools such as data visualization and trend / pattern analysis; present findings to clients including senior executives.Produce written findings reports delivering key recommendations in a succinct, qualified manner.Review outputs intended for client circulation and provide feedback to colleagues.Foster quality relationships with clients built on trust and professionalism.QualificationsDegree in a relevant subject (or equivalent).Knowledge of construction industry technical matters,



including procurement routes, disallowed cost areas, target price setting, pain/gain amount calculations.Experience with procurement routes such as Design and Build, target price, traditional lump sum, alliancing, guaranteed maximum price, cost plus.Knowledge and experience of various types of construction contracts.Assessment of accuracy and entitlement to cost.Data analysis skills; experience with PowerBI/Tableau preferred.Strong report‑writing ability to communicate complex messages succinctly.Change management and forecast control experience.Professional body membership or equivalent (e.G., MRICS, PQS, CIQS, CPA).Additional InformationThe base salary range for this full‑time role is$95,000 - $145,000per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This reflects base salary only, not the total compensation package.
