We are looking for a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician who enjoys hands-on field work, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and delivering excellent customer service.The OpportunityThis is a field-based service role focused on diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and commissioning commercial HVAC/R and mechanical systems.You will work closely with Riada's Service Manager and technical teams while supporting contractors, building operators, and owners throughout BC.This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and building strong relationships with customers.Key ResponsibilitiesService, Maintenance & RepairsPerform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC/R and mechanical systems.Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field.Diagnose refrigeration, heating, hydronic, and domestic hot water system issues.Respond to service calls and provide timely solutions.Complete detailed service reports and document work performed.Identify worn or failing components and recommend corrective actions.Assist with equipment start-ups and commissioning activities.Verify equipment operation and performance.Support contractors and owners during project turnover.Customer ServiceCommunicate professionally with contractors, building operators, and owners.Provide clear explanations of issues, repairs,
