Lead Burlington Transit operations in person at Headquarters, applying safety, compliance, and performance expertise across a comprehensive network. The City of Burlington seeks a Manager, Transit Operations for regular full-time work. Oversee daily operations, administrative duties, supervisory and training staff, and unionized employees. Contribute to strategic planning, business plans, performance metrics, service changes, and financially responsible operations. Key Responsibilities:

Ensure secure operating, customer service, and schedule adherence standards Oversee incidents, detours, construction, severe weather, and emergencies Manage CVOR compliance, collision reviews, and corrective actions Set and report operational KPIs, including ridership and safety Prepare budgets, monitor variances,



and control overtime Requirements:

Three-year related college diploma; university degree preferred Four-plus years of progressively responsible operational experience Three-plus years leading a comprehensive transit network Knowledge of regulations, procedures, legislation, and collective agreements Excellent analytical, investigative, communication, and problem-solving skills Apply transit leadership, operational planning, and compliance expertise while managing Burlington Transit services, people, budgets, and performance.
