The ideal candidate brings deep subject matter expertise in Canadian pension and benefits programs, sound judgment in complex situations, and the ability to drive program improvements, not just administer processes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and submit pension filings and benefits reports in compliance with regulatory deadlines and legislationAdminister multiple benefits plans in line with plan policies and corporate governance requirementsLead HR system integrations and implementations from a pension and benefits perspectiveRecommend and drive improvements to pension and retirement processesAct as subject matter expert for HR, Payroll, Managers,



and employees on all benefits-related mattersManage service provider relationships, resolve claims and coverage issues, and validate billings for paymentSupport annual benefits enrolment, pension audits, financial statement preparation, and year-end processesProvide timely guidance to employees, retirees, and HR teams across CanadaQUALIFICATIONS4–6+ years of progressive pension and benefits experience, including broad-based and executive plansStrong knowledge of Canadian benefits legislation, compliance, and filing requirements2–3 years of SAP or equivalent HRIS/advantages platform experienceCollege or university degree; CEBS designation completed or in progress preferredTotal Rewards experience is a strong asset
