Support youth development at MLSE LaunchPad through safety, positive relationships, and sport-based programming in an in-person Toronto setting. Versatile availability is required.

As a Youth Mentor, you will help create a warm, accepting, and fun environment for youth facing barriers. You will work alongside Supervisors while supporting programming at MLSE LaunchPad. The position centers on safety, positive youth development, community connection, and calm responses to incidents. Staff model MLSE’s core values while contributing to projects, proposals, events, and daily operations. Experience working with youth of all ages is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Foster warmth, acceptance, fun, respect, and kindness
- Keep youth safe on court and off
- Support program delivery when required




- Respond calmly to incidents, problems, and emergencies
- Connect youth with services and supports

Requirements:

- Experience working with youth of all ages
- Passion for positive youth development and community work
- Comfort interacting with diverse communities and organizations
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Clear Vulnerable Sector background check and flexible availability
