Support shelter guests in Kamloops through advocacy, system navigation, and client-centered wellness support at Victoria Street Shelter. This is a full time permanent position.The Mustard Seed seeks an Advocate for its Health and Wellness area. You will help clients experiencing poverty, housing instability, and other barriers pursue rights, resources, and sustainable housing. The work includes intake, referrals, documentation, partnerships, and crisis intervention. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary allied health team.Key Responsibilities:Meet guests to identify ID, income,



and housing goalsComplete Wellness Advocate intake and document client interactionsConnect clients with internal and external community resourcesFacilitate health and wellness programs and group initiativesProvide advocacy, follow-up, and crisis intervention when necessaryRequirements:Undergraduate degree in a related field preferredThree to five years of related experience preferredExcellent interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skillsCompetence using MS Office; HIFIS, CASH, and VAT preferredClass 5 driver's licence and clean driver's abstractApply your advocacy, resource navigation, and wellness coordination skills supporting clients at The Mustard Seed in Kamloops.
