Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to manage and execute a variety of structural engineering projects.Key Qualifications & AttributesLicensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario.Minimum 3 years of structural engineering experience in Ontario.Strong technical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Positive, cooperative, and client-focused attitude.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to project sites.ResponsibilitiesManage structural engineering projects from proposal through completion.Prepare and manage project proposals, budgets, and schedules.Coordinate with clients and internal team members to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.Conduct structural assessments, inspections, and site reviews complete with detailed technical reports.Review engineering drawings, design briefs,



and reports.Develop structural designs for mainly residential and commercial projects (support on industrial projects may also be required).Mentor and support junior staff.Attend client meetings both in office and virtually.Assist with business development and client relationship management.Technical RequirementsThe candidate must have knowledge and experience working with the following subjects and Canadian codes:Ontario Building CodeStructural steel design (CSA S16)Reinforced concrete design (CSA A23.3)Wood design (CSA O86)Software & ToolsAutoCADRevitMicrosoft Office SuiteStructural analysis software (SAP2000, STAAD, RISA, etc.)Salary: $90,000-$130,000 annually, based on experience and demonstrated ability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
