Reporting to the Vice President, Claims Specialty Insurance, the Claims Examiner manages a portfolio of commercial property and casualty claims. You will maintain complete documentation, collaborate with underwriting and risk management, manage subrogation or litigation, and provide professional, empathetic customer service. The role calls for a self-directed, collaborative approach, excellent analysis, and the ability to learn quickly within Trisura’s entrepreneurial insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage claims from first notice of loss to resolution
- Monitor vendor performance and claim progress




- Maintain complete and accurate claim documentation
- Manage subrogation claims and litigation
- Provide resources for various business units

Requirements:

- Three to seven years of property claims adjusting experience
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and decision-making abilities
- Forward-thinking and collaborative problem-solving approach
- Self-directed work style in an entrepreneurial environment
- Bilingual English and French skills are an asset
