Test potable water plumbing products with CSA Group as a full time Laboratory Technician supporting certification work in Toronto, Ontario.

This hands-on position works alongside Water Quality laboratory technicians and reports status to managers, certifiers, and senior technicians. You will operate and maintain test measurement equipment, follow safety protocols and PPE requirements, and apply CSA, United States, and international standards. The role includes routine testing, sample preparation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow laboratory work orders and conduct routine tests independently
- Assemble and disassemble samples for testing
- Install equipment and prepare standards-based testing reagents




- Maintain chain-of-custody records and review sampling reports
- Support efficiency improvements and automated test forms

Requirements:

- Physical sciences degree or OACETT engineering technician qualification
- Experience in environmental or water testing laboratory
- Functional knowledge of spectroscopic testing techniques
- Ability to stand, lift 50 pounds, and use hand tools
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
