Astek Canada seeks an Applied AI Engineer for hybrid work, creating enterprise applications that improve productivity, automation, and decision-making.

Within Astek Canada’s Applied AI team, you will design, prototype, and integrate high-impact solutions for a major organization. You will develop proofs of concept, reference applications, assistants, and connectors. Collaboration includes business, technology, platform, security, and governance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and integrate high-impact Generative AI solutions
- Understand business needs and develop suitable applications
- Create proofs of concept, prototypes, and reference applications
- Perform testing, evaluation, and performance optimization
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders

Requirements:

- Three to five years of software engineering experience
- One to three years building Generative AI applications
- Experience developing assistants or intelligent automation solutions
- Robust Python, API, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Responsible AI, governance, and security
