As Project Accountant, you will support billing for a high volume of projects within Smith + Andersen’s accounting team. The position requires careful review of contract documents, responsive communication with project teams, and organized records. Responsibilities also include client portal uploads, final billing, project reconciliations, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare invoice packages and upload invoices to client portals
- Respond to project team billing inquiries
- Communicate contract changes with Project Managers and Principals
- Assist with year-end audit requirements
- Prepare final and zero-dollar project invoices

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
- Two to three years of accounting role experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge
- Solid communication with internal and external clients
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
