Forge Consulting Group seeks an Engineer who enjoys hands-on problem-solving, programming, and emerging automation technologies. The position develops customized machine vision solutions, diagnoses system issues, and supports customers across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and potentially elsewhere. One to two years assisting with machine vision programming is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop machine vision and automated inspection solutions
- Assist with 2D and 3D vision technologies
- Install systems at customer manufacturing locations




- Diagnose issues and determine underlying causes
- Build technical expertise through training and exposure

Requirements:

- Solid mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Computer programming experience, especially Microsoft Visual C#
- Knowledge of PLCs, electronics, and robotics programming
- One to two years assisting machine vision programming preferred
- Willingness and ability to complete cross-border travel
