Maintain natural gas engine systems as a Powerhouse Mechanic in Geraldton, Ontario. Apply repair, overhaul, and diagnostic skills across Wartsila generator equipment.

Working with seven Wartsila 20V34SG engines, you will maintain fuel, lubrication, cooling water, combustion charge air, and turbocharger systems. The position reports to the Mill Mechanical Supervisor and requires coordination with operators, engineering, trades, and supervision. Safety and environmental protection remain essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain engine auxiliary and support systems
- Repair pumps, injectors, filters, and machinery components
- Coordinate trade services, procedures, methods, and hazards
- Track parts orders and requisitions for completed work

Requirements:

- Five or more years of relevant professional work experience
- Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Industrial Mechanic/Millwright certification
- TSSA Gas Technician G1 or G2 certification is an asset

- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather
