Test commercial pumps with electrical connections, instrumentation, and computer software at Armstrong Fluid Technology in Scarborough, Ontario. Work the afternoon shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

The Pump Tester performs testing according to established processes and procedures. This position requires electrical or mechanical technician experience, measurement instrumentation knowledge, and product testing experience. You will assess results, save records correctly, and report issues to quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and unload pumps from the test stand
- Connect pumps to electrical supplies and test instrumentation
- Run pump tests using the test computer terminal
- Assess results and report failed criteria to quality assurance




- Program variable frequency drive parameters when required

Requirements:

- Electrical or mechanical technician diploma or trade certificate
- Computer, Microsoft Excel, Windows Explorer, and testing software experience
- Measurement instrumentation experience with flow and pressure devices
- Product testing experience using procedures or specifications
- Grade 12 equivalent and robust mathematics skills
