Explore derivatives and currency hedging as a UPP Intern Analyst in Toronto, supporting exposure monitoring and FX trading. This hybrid internship includes two office days weekly.

The four-month internship runs from May 2027 through August 2027 on UPP’s growing Trading, Liquidity and Exposure Management team. You will report to the Associate Principal, TLEM, and help build trade generation and exposure monitoring tools. The assignment covers equity futures, fixed income securities, repos, and multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support derivative activities through exposure analysis
- Monitor transactions involving products such as equity futures
- Assist in foreign exchange trading
- Support trading execution and activities




- Perform analysis for exposure management and trading

Requirements:

- Degree studies in finance, commerce, business, or related discipline
- Computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related fields accepted
- Basic finance knowledge and demonstrated interest
- Python, SQL, and Excel VBA proficiency
- Statistical, quantitative, communication, and leadership skills

Develop practical exposure management experience while applying finance knowledge and programming skills across UPP’s trading activities.
