Support cytology testing onsite in Brampton with sample preparation, quality control, and routine laboratory procedures. Work Monday to Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Dynacare is seeking a permanent full time Clinical Laboratory Assistant for its Cytology team. Prepare samples and reagents, perform simple non-interpretive tests, and operate complex instruments under documented procedures. Maintain accurate data entry, equipment records, quality checks, and laboratory standards.



This position supports downstream solutions and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples and reagents for routine processing
• Perform simple non-interpretive tests independently
• Operate complex instruments following department procedures
• Complete quality control checks and required documentation
• Maintain, disinfect, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment

Requirements:

• Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or approved laboratory assistant course
• Health or Science diploma or degree accepted
• Keyboarding speed of at least 40 words per minute
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds
