This role is for a person who likes solving problems, fixing things properly, working with their hands, and helping people. We don’t just want our equipment simply functioning, we want it optimized to perform at its best.We are hiring for anEquipment Service Technician .This role includes:Servicing and maintaining our coffee and espresso equipmentTroubleshooting and repairing other equipment issues in our cafés, bakery, and production spacesManaging our fleet of coffee equipment for wholesale customers, including service records and maintenance planningInstalling coffee and other equipment for new and existing wholesale customers, and for our own cafésResponding to equipment emergenciesManaging inventory of parts, tools, and other service suppliesCreating and managing a preventative maintenance schedule for our in-café equipmentOccasionally building temporary bar setups for major eventsWe’re looking for someone with robust hands-on technical ability and broad practical experience. Experience servicing coffee and espresso equipment would be a major plus,



but it is not required.You should have experience in many of the following areas:plumbingelectrical and electronicswater filtrationmotors and mechanical systemswoodworking or fabricationYou should also be:organizedself-sufficient and self-startingability to learn new systems quicklyan excellent troubleshooter and problem solverable to handle many jobs at once without getting overwhelmedadaptable and easy to work witha strong communicator with a customer service mentalityRequirements:Valid driver’s licenseYour own reliable vehicle, for kilometre reimbursementGood physical fitness, as this role involves some heavy liftingThis is a full-time role and includes some weekend, evening, and on-call work.
