Topa is looking for a motivated Security Supervisor to join our team in Rocanville. The successful candidate will provide hands-on leadership and operational oversight for the Security team at Nutrien while supporting a secure, professional, and service-focused environment.Position Title: Security SupervisorLocation: Rocanville – NutrienHours: Monday – Thursday (12 hour shifts)Start Date: ImmediateClosing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hiredResponsibilities:Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to Security PersonnelCoordinate shift coverage, work assignments, breaks, and schedule changesConduct shift briefings and ensure effective communication between team members, site contacts, and managementMonitor staff performance, coach team members, and address operational concerns promptlyEnsure employees follow site procedures, post orders, safety requirements, and applicable regulationsManage access cards through the security computer systemOversee camera surveillance, access gates, parking lots, and visitor registrationMonitor the telephone, transfer calls, and use the paging systemCoordinate and document weekly fire alarm testing, inventory, and unit checksReview daily reports and incident reports for accuracy, completeness, and timely submissionLead the response to security incidents and emergencies, elevate concerns, and coordinate with site personnel or emergency services as requiredConduct preventive surveillance rounds and verify that required patrols are completedProvide basic first aid and support emergency response proceduresEnsure the protection of people, assets,



and propertyProvide professional customer service and resolve concerns appropriatelyPrevent fire, theft, vandalism, and unauthorized accessMaintain security equipment, supplies, keys, and records, and report deficienciesSupport onboarding and site-specific training for new Security PersonnelParticipate in investigations and prepare clear follow-up documentation when requiredAdminister drug and alcohol screening in accordance with established proceduresSkills and Qualifications:Valid Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid Level C with AED certificationPrevious security experience; supervisory or team-lead experience is preferredDemonstrated leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressureStrong conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsProfessional conduct and the ability to set a positive example for the teamProactive, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with othersStrong written and verbal communication skills, including clear report writingStrong computer skills and experience using security or access-control systemsAbility to organize schedules, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple operational demandsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and access to a vehicleMust pass a drug and alcohol testValid DATAC licenseWe would like to thank everyone for their application; only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.Topa Contracting is a company driven by the success of our employees, our clients, and our community.
